Roger Stacy is our new Associational Missionary (DOM). He began his ministry on March 1, 2007. He served in Utah and South Dakota in pioneer missions before being appointed by the International Mission Board in 1986. He and his wife, Penny, served in Brazil and Ukraine for 11 years before returning to the United States in 1997. Bro. Roger comes to Gibson Association from the Central Baptist Association in McMinnville, TN, where he served as DOM for 10 years.

Bro. Roger is a native of Pontotoc, Mississippi. He has three married children and five grandchildren.

His personal vision is to be on mission with God in the fulfillment of the Great Commission through making disciples, equipping them to be healthy and reproducing. It is his vision to see Gibson Baptist Association be a missional Association engaging in an Acts 1:8 strategy to reach all people (all nations) with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
